Eric Douglass is from Baltimore, Maryland. Married more than 42 years to the love of his life – Mary Douglass. He has 6 children and is the spiritual father to a hosts of others that call him Dad. Eric is an accomplished and ordained pastor and teacher. Eric is a veteran of the US Army and attended the United States Military Academy at West Point. For his theological training, he attended Wesley Theological Seminary and The Ecumenical Institute of St. Mary’s Seminary.
CHIEF ELDER – BOARD OF ELDERS
Mary Douglass is the Chief Elder of the Board of Elders of LOVE IN THE WORD CHURCH INC, LITWCHURCH GLOBAL MINISTRIES, and APOSTOLIC BIBLE COLLEGE & SEMINARY. She is an accomplished teacher K-12 and has completed all of here requirements, except dissertation, for her PhD in Educational Supervision. Mary is a Sister of Zion with great faith and is a brain cancer surviver that quietly shouts her love and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
EXECUTIVE PASTOR
Pastor Ron is Love In The WORD Church’s Executive Pastor responsible for the business aspects of our church. Ronald is also the Director of Music for the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Westminster MD (under contract). He holds the Bachelor of Science in Music – Voice Degree from Morgan State University and the Master of Science in Music Education from Towson University (2001). Pastor Ron received his Doctor of Divinity from Apostolic Bible College & Seminary.
DIRECTOR / GENERAL COUNSEL
Brandon and Christen Douglass are from Baltimore, Maryland. They have known each other for 19 years, meeting in high school, and have been married for four years. They have a beautiful daughter named Isabella who will turn 2 in July. Brandon Douglass is a graduate of Brown University with a B.A. in Psychology and received his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School. Brandon is a practicing corporate attorney, with a focus on finance.
Christen is a graduate of West Chester University with a B.S. in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine and received her Masters in Dance Education from New York University. Christen is a dance educator in the Howard County Public School System and the executive of her own Dance Choreography consulting firm.
Outside of work, Brandon is passionate about fitness, personal training and obstacle course racing (particularly Spartan Racing). Outside of work, Christen is passionate about choreographing and performing in musical theater. Brandon and Christen were both raised in homes of faith and continue to follow and share God’s Word.
COUNTRY BISHOP INDIA / DIRECTOR
Bishop Augustine is one of the newer Directors on the Board of Trustees of LOVE IN THE WORD CHURCH INC. Bishop Augustine is also the Country Bishop for India and serves as our legal counsel in Asia. He is quite accomplished academically having been a former Catholic Priest. He is a lawyer as well as a social worker with an intense desire to see people, especially women, educated. He currently serves also as the Principal of a school in Calcutta. Bishop Augustine has been a crucial force in the church, helping us navigate the many different aspect of Asian life. He has contacts all over the world and is leading the church’s effort to bring the Good News to all of Asia.
